"Never busted. Busted is what you see!"

Hey, I have heard worse. Growing up in my neck of the woods, I have heard guys go so far as to say, "if she (girlfriend/wife) doesn't come over and touch me AND I acknowledge her then it wasn't me." DAMN!

Still confused about what I am talking about? Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick of Detroit is what I'm talking about. Man, you know how I could just tell that dude was lying like crazy? He got all fancy with his lies. Why? Why all the pulpitting (da Roc)? Here is what he said under oath when accused of having an affair with his chief of staff during the police whistleblower trial:

"I think it was pretty demoralizing to her -- you have to know her -- but it's demoralizing to me as well," he said. "My mother is a congresswoman. There have always been strong women around me. My aunt is a state legislator. I think it's absurd to assert that every woman that works with a man is a whore. I think it's disrespectful not just to Christine Beatty but to women who do a professional job that they do every single day. And it's also disrespectful to their families as well."

Using government provided pagers to send sexual text messages?? That alone renders him AND her unfit for their respective jobs in my humble opinion. :) But I will let my Detroit peeps comment on this one. Like my boy Martin used to say, "Talk to me Detroit!"

I have to agree with the entire post.

Sending thousands of slack text messages on a city pager? Dumb.

Lying under oath when you KNOW proof of your lies exists. Dumber.

Paying out $8.4 million dollars in exchange for covering up the incriminating texts -- and not thinking anybody would find out? Dumbest.
